Headlights quit working. Running lights and dash lights still work. Fuses are all good. Checked with an ohm meter. High and low beams are not working. High beam indicator light on dash does not light up now either. Checked for power at the bulbs with the switch on and there wasn't anything. Took line from battery to light and bulb lit

Dipped still not working. Rear lights are working and the instrument indicator is working but front lights aren't. Although main beam is working. So must be relay. Are these buyable items and how do I get one I want?

I've checked a few more things: Fog lights both work fine, as do sidelights and the halogen full beam. In fact all front lights except the Xenons.

The fuses in the box under the bonnet do control a part of the dipped beam circuit,but the same fuses run many other things and as it's only the dipped beam not working it's unlikely to be them. It does seem to be a bit of a coincidence that the lights have stopped working after the car has been worked on,but I'm bu#gered if I can see a link between the dipped beam and the aircon.

The dipped, main, brake, side tail, reversing and fog lights plus the indicators are all on two 30amp fuses at position 16 (for the right) and 26 (for the left) on the under bonnet relay plate. Individual light short protection is performed by the central electrics computer.

I have checked the fuses, and found some threads on here saying that it is often the soldering on the steering wheel light stick that is the fault. I've removed the circuit board, but the solder points and tipss look fine (see photo below). Take the wiring pigtail you disconnected from the bulb previously and reattach it to the back of the bulb assembly with the new headlight bulb in it.
